We work on broken springs, cables that have jumped the drum, rollers that have worn their track grooves oval, and openers that either won't respond or won't reverse.
We also handle full door replacements when a repair isn't worth doing anymore - a door that's been patched three times, or a panel that's rusted through at the bottom from years of snowmelt sitting against it. A quote over the phone can only ever be a range. To give you an actual number, we need to see the door - the spring size, the track condition, whether the opener is original to the house or a later add-on, and whether the frame or header has shifted. Two houses built the same year in the same neighborhood can need completely different repairs depending on how the door's been maintained.
What we can price without a visit: standard service calls and diagnostic visits. What we can't price sight unseen: full door replacements, anything involving a bent track or damaged section, or jobs where the opener and door are mismatched in age. If your door was installed sometime in that 1980s-90s window that's common across this area, tell us that up front - it helps us bring the right spring stock on the truck instead of guessing.
One honest limit: if a part is obsolete or a specialty size, we may need to order it, and that can push a job out past a same-day fix. We'll tell you that on-site before we start, not after.

Can you give me a price over the phone?
We can give you a range for common jobs like spring replacement, but an exact price needs someone to look at the door in person. Track damage, opener mismatches, and header condition all change the cost, and those aren't things we can judge from a phone call.
Do you work on older doors from the 80s and 90s?
Yes - a lot of the homes we get called to were built in that stretch, and that's the hardware we see most often. Original torsion springs and single-wall panels from that era are common, and we carry stock sized for them.
How far out from Omaha do you go?

What if my door can't be fixed?
